Reading People 101

Here are some tips on how to read people. Promise me to keep it between us.

1. Be in their shoes, whatever they're doing. Imagine if you're doing it, how you'll be doing it, feel how you're gonna do it.

2. List down the possible outcomes; as in consequences, all of them. So, you may plan your actions; to avoid and to do.

3. To detect lies, look in their eyes while talking. If they're lying, it'd be a little weird, unless they're good to cover up.
P/s: When you know how to detect lies, you'll know how to lie.

4. When talking, don't always win. Give them some chances winning so time by time, you'll expose their secret. Getting trust, achieved.

5. Play tug of war. When someone says they're okay when they're not, leave them alone. Let's see if they mean what they said.

6. Care less, so you'll get hurt less. It's a good way keeping a good relationship with all type of humans. Less disappointment.

7. When you know the outcomes, you may now plan your actions. The good thing is, you can plan to succeed, or even to fail.
P/s: Sometimes you need to fail your plan, so that people will demand or offer a better chance for you. Grab the better one.

8. Words matter. Choose your words wisely. Really really wisely. Manipulate, and control the situation. Win the game!
P/s: So, if you plan to keep a nice relationship, say "I dislike this" instead of "I hate this". It's an example.

9. Rational, over emotional. So, people will be much more comfortable and they'll come closer. Calm yourself and think rationally.

P/s: There are some points in making things worse. Why? You'll make them appreciate chances, at least for the next time.

10. To get one's attention, ignore them first. Try this one, so lotsa secrets of theirs will be busted.
P/s: When somebody is playing tug of war with you, leave them and say "I don't like to force people". They'll come back. An instant win.

11. In return, don't worry much about somebody and they'll crave for your attention as they know they're ignored.
If you presence creates an impact, the same thing goes to your absence. Try leaving. You'll know who stays and who leaves.

12. If you dislike somebody, hurt them to make them leave. Better than to leave peacefully, else they'll come back and you won't like it.

13. You may judge them but please keep it to yourself. Judging as in saying it out loud will ruin your friendship/relationship.
Because it takes years to know someone. The first day, you'll see the devil side of them. But in the end, they're all saint.

14. Ask them to be honest. Honesty is the best policy, yet the best way to know the truth.

15. You need ego. But too much ego hurts. Ego helps you being a boss and people will think twice about hurting you. It helps you to ignore.
